In the modern society, where the celebrities are planning and plotting their ways to slim figures, its always an inspiration to see someone who is not! Who says plus size women can’t make it big in the entertainment industry?! Nikki has proved it all! A big fan of the movies and musical, I will say Nikki Blonsky is really superb! | Nikki was honored in the 13th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards for her role as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray in 2007 (Best Young Actress), which has grossed over 100 million dollars to date. She was taped “screaming her brains out” when she won the award.
Nikki continues to star in movies such as “Harold” with Cuba Gooding Jr. this past summer, “Queen Sized” on Lifetime and most recently has been cast in the Indie film “Waiting for Forever” set to release sometime in 2009. Nikki is also currently working on her first album, which she hopes, to release when the time is right. |
