In Love With Plus Size
7 Oct 2008 • Plus Size InsiprationsRecently, I met someone…a guy…he who is in love with plus size women…I think he is really awesome and his passion for the plus size is definitely more than a hugful. To all B.A.B. women out there, we should celebrate being plus size!
In a Health Discussion forum that he participated in for Plus Size Exercise at Amazon.com, he defined his stand by providing “substantial evidence”…
He said: “There are plenty of men who think plus-size is sexy and enjoys them. The propaganda that only by being skinny is healthy desirable is simply untrue. You should check out this reading list!”

As much as we wish to feel all confident and sexy, the Singapore society still has this mindset issue about plus-sized people. Look at the clothing sizes, the advertisements on slimming etc… Kinda frustrating at times, dont you think?

The worst is when people comment on you when u r in public. what do u do? Do you confront them? or let them be? When im in the mood.. i will ‘fight’ defend myself.. anyway, i think this is what BigIsGorgeous is doing.. trying to create awareness n support all that.. But society is still the same!??

Another thing to share, in my race, its damn hard to find a guy of your own race if you are fat. Negative% chances! They will outright reject n say so FAT!? Cannot! I heard from few plus size ppl of my race and even me myself la.

I used to think this way…really. let me share something with you and it may sound all very cliche but its true. Read this carefully….THE BEAUTY LIES WITHIN. Confidence is KEY. and really, let say it again, CONFIDENCE is KEY! Regardless of size, weight, height and looks, confidence is what makes one shines. I am a size 24 and that makes me really plus size. Well, there are times when I lose the confidence all together but I knew I had to pull them back together. Otherwise, if I don, who else will? We must believe in ourselves.
