With Spring and Summer coming and going soon, it’s time for a “new chapter”! What inspires me to put up this article? Oh well, I was on the bus on my way home from the esplanade and passed by Bugis Street and there it was - “It’s Time For A New Chapter”. And for a while, i was trying to figure out what shop is this until my friend enlightened me that its a hairdressing shop. Pretty cool name, eh!

The crowning glory is very important to one’s physical appearance. It can do pretty good visual tricks. I for once, love to experiment new hairstyles (see below for my different hairstyles throughout the years). Its kinda fun and it definitely adds freshness and let people look at you from a different perspective with different hairstyle. What’s best, with the correct hairstyle, you can definitely visually slimmer or prettier for that matter. hahaha. I had my worst hair days when after the haircut, I simply go to my room and cry it out or during my crowning glory moments, I will be strutting around like a proud lion (I am a Leo). Hahah. Black was, is and will always be. No matter what designers tell you and what they try to convince themselves in, black is always black. And no one will fight this statement.

The good news is that most people can wear black and look great. Women buy black, sometimes in large quantities – it’s all they wear, because it is always available, it’s versatile and it has a reputation for being slimming. A note here, black is not always slimming. If worn too tightly, black outlines the silhouette and will actually make a person appear larger. The same is true for black hose; black will define the shape of your leg. If you like your leg shape or you want them to appear smaller wear black. However, if do not want to draw attention to your leg shape do not wear black hose.
